SHANI (SHY) (191035000064572)  female, 9.7.2017., in the shelter since 21.6.2019., from streets of the village near Roma village. Cca 40-45cm. She came with her puppies Molly, Cookie, Rene, Pimki, she was very very very scared and shy and could bite. Puppies were all adopted. Shy is now called Shani because by changing her name we wanted to indicate that she will no longer be shy. Shani came to the shelter in july 2019. in a state of huge shock, fear and panic. She was terribly afraid of everything, she was hiding all the time. After some time, we placed her in the temporary accommodation of our volunteer's boarding house, and there she progressed to the stage where she no longer hid in the house, went outside, loved sunbathing, but retreated to safety when the volunteer entered her yard. As time passed, there were no new developments, so at the beginning of the year, Aleksandra took her home. With the help of a dog trainer, after a few days she learned to be on a leash and went for walks. Although she was afraid of everything, she soon began to enjoy going for walks, so she now regularly goes for walks. She no longer hides and Aleksandra can walk past her without her running to the other side of the room. But she still can't be touched except for a short time and it's very uncomfortable for her. He gets along with all the dogs in the house, i.e. he ignores them. Shani is definitely a dog for patient people who would have time to deal with her and slowly gain her trust. In two months, from a completely closed dog, she became a dog that wags her tail as soon as it's time to go for a walk and is very happy about it, and her eyes are no longer in fear but sparks of joy.
